On Saturday, May 15, we will celebrate La Salle's 22nd Annual Crystal Ball as an online experience. Chaired by a team of three outstanding parent volunteers, Jacky Samartin P'15, '19, '21, Jennifer Gowen P'22 and Carol Kirland P'22, I am confident we will enjoy another successful event this year.
With our theme, "Our Hat's Off To You," it is with great gratitude we honor our faculty and staff for guiding us through this unprecedented year. In my short tenure at La Salle, I have realize how very blessed I am to have such dedicated educators working every day with our students. While nothing has come easy or without challenges this school year, I would like to thank the unwavering support of our students, parents, faculty, and staff. It is through our partnership, we have been able to navigate these challenging times and provide the best possible educational experience for everyone.
The Annual Crystal Ball is La Salle's signature philanthropic event in support of our commitment to our student academic, artistic, athletic, and financial aid programs. Since its inception in 1999, the Crystal Ball has provided over $4.5 million in support to our school community, and we are very grateful for this incredible spirit of generosity over the last 20 years.
While the past twelve months have deeply impacted our lives, we as a community have been able to adapt and continue to function as a college preparatory school. We supported every family who experienced financial hardship during the pandemic, and we are proud more than ever to call ourselves a Lasallian, Catholic school. We look forward to our return to in-person instruction shortly and thank everyone for their cooperation and generosity in making this a reality. WE WILL SEE YOU SOON!
I want to thank you in advance for considering this important opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the young people entrusted to our care.
Perry K. Martin, M.Ed.
